Audition Notice:

The John Beasley Theater and Workshop (JBT) will present Fats Wallers’ very popular musical, “Ain’t Misbehavin.” Auditions will be held March 4th through March 6th at the theater located on the corner of 30th and Q Streets(inside of the South Omaha YMCA). Potential performers may either bring a piece of music or audition with the music that will be provided by the theater.

The show is scheduled to open Friday, April 18, 2008 and run through Sunday, May 11, 2008. There will be six weeks of rehearsals leading up to the opening of the show. Potential performers must also reserve time for fundraising events and a potential extension of the show.
The JBT is also working with the Sister City Associations of Omaha and Shizuoka Japan to take this show to Japan this summer as a cultural exchange. Potential performers must commit to all of the events/activities associated with this project. It will be imperative that we know of any schedule conflicts prior to rehearsals beginning. We are very excited about this opportunity and are looking for singers that have a good work ethic and the passion needed for a project of this magnitude.
